I began expressing my creativity at an early age with endless hours of drawing and colouring. I discovered my passion for painting 15 years ago and work mostly with acrylics but enjoy working in oils also. I have recently begun a new adventure exploring Encaustic painting. This is a process of using molten beeswax and it is an exciting and fun new medium for me.

I love to use vibrant colours and am inspired by the child inside and by the wonders in the world. I enjoy creating animated whimsical work which invokes happiness and brings joy to those viewing my art.

Glowing Woods Gallery is an extension of my artwork providing a creative setting to paint and allow visitors to interpret my creations in a gallery setting. The gallery opened in 2004 and since that time has been a stop on the annual Gabriola Gallery Tour.
